The State of the Land
The United Kingdom and Ireland, as the home of Ancient Camelot, and the land in which the Avalon Initiative made their base, was hit first by the war of the Verdant Wood.
While most forested areas and small villages have seen little change other than more summer growth than anticipated, many larger towns and cities have been decimated. These places have been dubbed Green Zones.

Other cities aren't exactly uninhabitable, but every day is a battle against the green. Electricity is patchy and transport is scarce. Fuel is running desperately low, trains have stilled in their tracks, and buses struggle to navigate ruined roads.
